Beginner Workshop

There is lots going on in the boutique lately!  I have been having numerous requests for help with camera equipment, shooting, lighting and basics of photography.  I love, love, love to help as much as I can, but I am running into a very full schedule!  So, I have opened up another workshop on Saturday, August 25th.  It is being held at Life's Journey Scrapbooking 109 East 8th Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82001.  The workshop is $40 and includes a workbook with class material,  details, notes, and homework.   Distance learning workshop is also available for those of you that are not in Cheyenne.  I will be doing a different forum for the distance learning course.  Please use the same form to sign up for class.  When you check out, please let me know that you are a distance learner. I will email your workbook to you in pdf format.  I will have a portfolio review instead of class work.

I will be discussing using natural lighting, camera basics (shooting in manual in a dslr and working with the settings on your point and shoot cameras), how to get "that" shot with children, lining up your shots and shooting basics.

Class will be from 9 am until 10:30.  I will be doing a teaching time, a hands on examples as well as question and answer time.  This workshop is limited to the first 30 people.  To register for this class, please fill out the following information and then pay for your class via PayPal.  You may also register and pay for the class in Life's Journey. If the class is full before you are able to register, I will hopefully be teaching another one and I will announce when that day is.
