This beautiful lady scheduled boudoir several months ago and we were finally able to schedule when I was in Michigan this week.  I do have to say, they turned out beautifully!  She was so gorgeous!

I had SO much fun with this couple!  We headed out to the Wyoming Hereford Ranch and caught the weather just right.  The whole day was beautiful!  It was almost 60 degrees in FEBRUARY in Wyoming. As soon as we were done, it dropped 20 degrees and started sleeting.

This is my amazing adopted daughter, who is also my intern, and her boyfriend.  I love these images.  They really show who these two are together and every time I look at them they make me so happy!

This session was super fun!  It was a really warm day, but the lake ice was still frozen!  We ventured out on to it and had a riot!!

I've known this woman since I first moved to Cheyenne, only we didn't realize it until we met up for the day of her session!  I loved jumped out of my truck and hearing her say, "I know you!!"

I met this family while photographing a Kempo Christmas party.  We scheduled that day and I am thrilled to have been able to work with this amazing family.  I was booked as their wedding photographer for a VERY unique wedding in 2015 that I honestly can't wait to shoot for them!!!

I love her happy, joyous face!  When I work with families, I absolutely adore when I get natural expressions!  This one just melts my heart!

I love the reflection in the window behind them!

Happy Birthday { s } Cheyenne, Wyoming Birth Photographer

This family is also one of my Watch Me Grow families.  This is their birth.  Mama wanted an unassisted home water birth.  This is her 10th child and she's already had several at home.  Things started very slow.  I was warned that mama goes fast, so when I got that preliminary phone call on July 3rd at 6 pm, I was on pins and needles.  Nothing moving along just yet, just a few intense contractions.  I didn't sleep a wink that whole night.  At 5:00 am I finally got that call.  I headed out to her house.  After almost 12 hours of labor and no real movement, mama decided to follow her heart and head into the hospital.  When we all arrived, mama was complete with a small rim and baby's head wasn't molding.  Baby didn't make her appearance for another seven hours and that was with pitocin.  This was an 18 hour labor for me and even longer for mama. Baby was born on the 4th of July and her name means "freedom."  Kinda special if you ask me.
